Fragment of a mount, possibly pewter, most likely Post Medieval in date.
What remains is sub-triangular in plan, being slightly domed, with an iron stud on the reverse. On the front there is some sort of decoration with a central vertical strip being cut into the mount. All edges seem broken, even if only small parts are missing, so it is difficult to ascertain the original shape. Only the base of the iron stud remains but it has leached iron corrosion over quite a large part of the mount.

Cast lead decorative object, possibly a mount in the form of a skeleton.
It has cast decoration on both sides and appears complete. One side is more worn than the other and so the decoration is not as clear.
The object has a central motif of a skeleton with arms raised up to horizontal. The head is above the edge of the object and so sticks out. There are 4 circular holes, one below each arm and also 2 where the feet should be.
The use of skeletons as a motif is most common around the 17/18th centuries. For example they are often used on 17th and 18th century mourning rings.
