Flint flake- possibly used as a type of saw/knife along one edge. It is a light orange/brown colour with white flecks. In plan it is sub-rectangular. In cross section it is triangular. The right hand side long edge has some wear along, most likely from use. One face has 3 flakes taken from it vertically giving the flake it's triangular cross section. It is very hard to date a single piece of flint on it's own but it is probably Neolithic/Bronze Age in date.

Flint scraper, probably Neolithic- Bronze Age in date, c.3500- 800 BC. It is made from a light grey flint with some white inclusions. A very small piece of cortext remains on the base of one edge. In plan it is sub-tear drop in shape, with a rounded base and a pointed tip. Barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, dating from the late Neolithic- early Bronze Age, c. 2500- 1500 BC. Flint barbed and tanged arrowhead with one of the two barbs, and possibly the end of the tang having broken off in antiquity. The arrowhead is triangular in plan with a central narrow tang and two barbs, on e of which projects past the base of the tang, in length, the other is broken and is shorter than the tang. Flint flake, or possibly a blade, probably dating to the Neolithic period, c. 3550- 2100 BC. It is sub-triangular in plan, and in cross-section as well, having a central raised ridge down the centre. It is made from an orange/toffee coloured flint. Some re-touching is visible on all edge but it is not clear exactly what the objects purpose was.

Three flint tools/flakes. Left- A light brown/orange material. It is possibly a late Neolithic tranchet arrowhead. Sub-triangular in plan with the two upper sides being slightly concave and a median ridge on each point from the centre. Middle- Grey material which fades from a dark to a light shade from top to bottom. Irregular in plan with one curved edge. Possibly a late Neolithic- Early Bronze Age scraper. Right- Light grey material. This is most likely debitage but could have been re-used to form a scraper. It is difficult to see the detail from the image

Three flint flakes/tools, all made from a light grey flint which has some white patches. Left- Sub-triangular in plan, all the corners are rounded. There is some possible retouch along the edges. This is a blade, probably late Mesolithic in date. Middle- Irregular shaped fragment with one rounded edge. This is most likely to be a flake of early Neolithic date. Right- Late Mesolithic blade, the upper end is pointed and has been retouched on both sides of this point. There is a median ridge running the length of the blade.

Flint scraper dating from the late Neolithic period through to the Bronze Age. It is sub-oval in shape with rounded edges. It has a D-shaped cross, section, the flat reverse has the cortex still in place. The flint is dark brown colour with some patches and flecks of black, light brown and white. Flint scraper or blade from the end of the Mesolithic period. The scraper is hexagonal in plan. The two long sides both look to have some retouching. The dorsal face has had 3 flakes taken off, the centre is flat with sloping sides. The ventral face shows the conchoidal ripples caused by striking the flake from its core. The top end appears broken which would suggest a function as a blade rather than a scraper. At the bottom the end has been retouched, to make it flatter, there is no clear striking platform. Small flint blade which could date from the Mesolithic through to the Neolithic period. It is incomplete, one end having broken off. In plan it is linear with the unbroken end being slightly rounded and bulbous. On one face there is a central ridge, the other face is smooth. It is made from a light grey flint which has some darker grey patches. Individual flint tools and flakes are difficult to date precisely when found on their own and outside of a context.
