RIC V, pt. 2, c.f.no.815 for type. This type is only recorded for unmarked coins (RIC 815), but because of poor preservation another better specimen is required to determine legend and mint for certain. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

Mint of Rome Probably as RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 242, no. 186; although cf. p. 240, no. 143. Description of Coin Obverse: [...] SER GALBA CAESA[...], Laureate head right. Reverse: DIV[A] AVGVSTA, Livia standing left holding patera and sceptre. Discussion Three silver Roman denarii were reported from a metal detecting rally and thought to be part of a hoard.
