A silver late Medieval coin; a double patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy and Count of Flanders (1467-1477). Other coins of this type have been recorded on the database, e.g. SWYOR-214D75 In 1469 a monetary convention between Duke Charles and King Edward IV made the former’s coinage in the Low Countries legal tender in England.
