An incomplete silver Roman denarius of Octavian/Augustus, dating to the period c. 32-27 BC (Reece Period 1). IMP CAESAR reverse type depicting a rostral column decorated with two anchors and six beaks of galleys, surmounted by a figure of Octavian, naked except for a cloak over left shoulder and holding a parazonium in left hand and a spear in right hand.
