The flan is not even and most of the legend is not on the coin. On the obverse the cross has come through from the reverse.

Silver Long cross penny of Edward I minted in Durham. It is most likely to be Wren type 4c, North no. 1025, dating to 1283-86
However it could be- Wren type 4b-e, 5b, 6b or 7b dating to c. 1283-1293. North nos. 1024-27, 1029, 1031, 1033 as some of the detail is not clear (1991;29-30).
