Cast lead weight of the late Medieval period.
It is shield shaped with a decorated top surface and an undecorated lower surface. The outer perimeter of the lower surface is raised. The outer perimeter of the top surface is separated from the main body of the wieght by a groove, but in pressent condition it is somewhat damaged.
The upper surface is decorated with a three tined crown above a fleur-de-lis.

A cast copper-alloy plate brooch of the later Roman period, c. AD 200-400.
The brooch has a pointed oval plate, with an oval raised collar that is an empty setting for either a stone or glass, now missing. Wear and corrosion obscure the pattern decorated on the face of the brooch between the setting and outer edge.
The reverse bears the remains of an incomplete lug to take a hinged pin (now missing) and the base of a catch plate for the pin.

Cu alloy seal box lid, possibly Roman in date. The lid is oval in shape with 2 circular attachments, one at each end, which are the hinge and catch parts. It is decorated on the top and plain on the interior side. The top surface is decorated and has some traces of blue and possibly white enamel remaining. There is a central circular boss which has a concave diamond inside. This is surrounded by 7 hollow circles which could have been filled with enamel. Lead spindle whorl with raised decoration on both sides.
All of the spindle whorl is decorated with a raised line and dot pattern. The decoration consists of a zig-zag line running from the medial ridge to the central perforation with dots between every line. There are more lines on one side than the other.

Cast Cu alloy lozengiform openwork brooch from the 10th century. The brooch is lozengiform and has an equal armed cross set in the middle. The spaces between the arms are open and rounded to form circles. The pin is not present. Borre-style decoration dates this to the 10th century.

Cu Alloy headstud brooch.
The needle is complete but the foot is broken off. The pin is hinged. The headloop is cast. At the top of the bow is the headstud, which is in this case a spherical knob, cast integrally with the brooch. There is some incised linear decoration on the crossbar.

Cu Alloy headstud brooch.
The catchplate is missing but it is otherwise complete. The pin is hinged and the crossbar is decorated with incised grooves, above which is a visually distince tube to take the hinge-pin. The headstud is on the top of the bow and is an annular bead.

Cu alloy Roman headstud brooch with some silver gilding from the mid-first century.
The foot and some of the catchplate are missing. The pin is hinged but has broken about half-way down before the point.
The crossbar is cylindrical and is complete except for the decoration. On the end of the left side is a ring of twisted wire around the diameter which was gilded silver but this has mostly worn off. In the middle of this half of the crossbar is some ribbing where another ring of wire should be. The right side of the crossbar has the middle ring of of wire but not the end one.

Decorated strip of lead/tin alloy. Possible bracelet or possible strap fitting.
The strip is curved and half its length is curved in on itself. It has been cast. It is smooth on one side and decorated on the other. The decoration relief consists of a repeating pattern of multi-faceted squares separated by a vertical arrangement of three pellets.

Medieval Lead weight.
It is globular- almost 'acorn' shaped and symmetrical. The main body of the weight is complete but the suspension loop is broken, only 3.5mm remains of the shank.
There is an Fe core, some of which is still present. The base is sub-circular and indented.

Circular lead weight or gaming piece.
Circular possible weight or gaming piece which has a raised edge. It is decorated by 3 concentric circles, the central one being filled in. The back is plain but has some scratch marks and chips probably due to wear.
Its function is unclear as although it appears decorative there is no obvious method of attachment. It could possibly be a gaming token or a weight.

Possible lid or cap made of lead, probably Roman.
The top of the object is circular in plan and there is a raised edge. Inside the raised edge, in relief, is an animal, possibly a cockerel. On the back the edges have folded in on themselves so they would no longer fit as a lid.

Cu alloy token or jetton, probably Medieval.
A thin circle of Cu alloy which is plain on one side and decorated on the other. One edge is bent.
The decoration is not very clear due to wear. It appears to be a central circle surrounded by four sub-sqaure shapes. Inside the circle and the other shapes is more decoration perhaps consisting of lines and dots.
