Cast copper alloy umbonate brooch dating to the 2nd century AD. It is circular in plan and is flat. It has eight semi-circular lugs around the outside and the front face is decorated by three concentric raised rings. The reverse is plain. It is a hinged brooch, the pin is missing but the base of the loop and the catchplate remain.

Cast copper alloy Roman strap fitting, dating to the 1st-2nd centuries AD. Consisting of two solid domes sat on a rectangular plate. The domes have slight hollows on the base. There is a rectangular strap on the reverse which is narrower than the plate. It is similar in style to the button and loop fasteners.

Copper alloy early type of Roman bow brooch called a Nauheim derivative dating to the first century AD. Only the bow remains, the pin and spring have broken away. It would have been a one piece brooch (the spring and pin being made from the same piece as the bow). The top of the bow has broken where it would have led into the spring. Cast copper alloy Medieval harness mount with an eagle pendant. The hanger is the shape of an upside down Y- the pendant hanging between the two arms. It is attached by a loop around an axis bar which is fixed between the two arms. The hanger has a stud on the reverse.which is 7.5mm long. Just above where the hanger splits into two arms there is a line of vertical grooves as decoration. An incomplete copper alloy spoon dating to the first or second centuries AD. It has a large circular bowl. There is a triangular ridge on the underside of the bowl which extends to form the stem. The stem is circular in section and possesses a beaded moulding about half way along its length. The stem is broken. This spoon can be classified as a Crummy Type 1 spoon (Crummy 1983, p. 70).

Bronze axe dating from c.1900- 1600 BC. It is from the Aylesford/Willerby periods and is an erly form of the palstave type. The axe is mostly complete. It has just small plain flanges. At its widest point the blade measures 45mm. It is not complete as its edges are rounded and worn. It has a drak beown patina and is mostly smooth although there are some patches of small dints at the butt and blade ends.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval buckle or clasp with an integral plate. The plate is rectangular in plan and leads straight into a sub-square loop. just before the loop there is a circular perforation. At the end of the plate are two circular rivets. At the junction with the loop there are two circular raised dots which mirror the rivets. The plate is split at the end. The buckle frame is slightly rounded on the front and flat on the reverse. Two rim pieces (which fit together) from an imitation Samian ware bowl. It is an imitation of a Dragendorff Form 38. The smaller peice weighs 13.8 and is 42.23mm long. The larger piece weighs 38.7g and is 73.66mm long. Both pieces appear to be burnt as they are blackened on the outside surface. The inside surface is not the original surface as some has broken away leaving only a thin section. The fabric which is visible is an orange colour but this could be due to the burning also.
