Cast copper alloy livery button, with silver gilt, from the 18th century. The button is slightly domed and is complete. The design on the front appears to be a mitre (bishops hat) with 2 strands of ribbon coming from the base of it. This could suggest that the household to which this belongs had some links to religion. The attachment loop is circular and complete although it has been bent.
