Fragment of Medieval pottery. Rim and body sherd of a Medieval green glazed vessel, possibly a beaker or small jar. The fabric is a yellow/cream colour with the dark green glaze on the outside of the pot. Below the rim there is a plain band and then there is some moulded decoration on the body in a scallop pattern.

Cast copper alloy spout from a Medieval ewer. Medieval copper alloy ewer spout, dating to the 15th century. It was cast separately from the rest of the vessel and soldered on via a long sloping seam. The spout quickly tapers to become tubular with a moulded dogs head decoration on the spout terminal. The dog has slightly raised mounds for ears, its snout and eyes are represented by a concave depression with a sub-square spout protruding from its open mouth. Glass handle from a Post Medieval vessel. It is a cylindrical shape, slightly curved and is broken at both ends. The glass has begun to degrade slightly and so the surface has an uneven patina, some of which is flaking off. It is a light green colour with gold patches which are the main flaky sections.

11 pieces of Roman grey ware. Most are body sherds. The sherds can be grouped to represent possibly 7 individual pots. A pot sherd of fine grained Buff/pale grey fabric with a wall thickness of 5mm turning at a basal angle of approximately 45 degrees to a base 10mm thick. There are shallow grooves scored into the internal surface. It is possible that this fragment could be Crambeck parchment ware in the form of a shallow sided dish form 2 as per Corder 1937. Cast lead lid from a small pot, probably Post Medieval in date. It would have been circular when complete but it is missing one part and has also been bent out of shape. It has some cracks also. The upper face is decorated with a design in relief. It consists of a central circle with lines radiating out to the edge. Inside the circle (although not clear on the image) is face with pointed oval eyes, a long nose and a small pursed mouth. It is probably meant to be the sun.

Cast copper alloy pot leg from a cauldron or skillet. Dating to the Medieval- Post Medieval period. The leg has a C-shaped cross section with four raised ridges running the length of the leg on the outside face. The leg narrows slightly towards the base from 52.17mm to 30.63mm wide. It has a slight curve and the top end has a flat, D-shaped base where the leg would have been attached to the pot.
