Cast copper alloy scabbard chape, 12th century in date. The artefact is of thick sheet construction. Having been folded over on itself, it forms a trapezoidal shaped base section. It has 2 arms, meaning it plan it is U shaped. The base section is decorated on one face The arms, rectangular in plan, terminate in a lozenge. The terminals are perforated centrally and attached to each other by an extant rivet. The arms are decorated on one face with incised diagonal lines, running horizontally, along the whole length.

Cast lead Medieval spindle whorl. It is circular in plan, and biconical with a central circular perforation. The decoration on both faces consists solely of lines, in relief. One face is split into sections by lines radiating from the centre, with two horizontal lines in each section. The other face is more abstract.

It has an openwork quatrefoil shape which has two small projections at the base where it meets the beginning of the shaft. This has a circular cross section, with a widened bead in the centre.

Cast copper alloy late Medieval- Post Medieval chape, dating from c. 1400- 1600. Only the front (domed) half remains, the flat back having broken away. In plan the chape has a semi-circular lower half with a small extension knop at the base. It is decorated with incised lines, giving a scallop effect which meet at the centre in a semi-circular hollow. Above this are two circular holes, one to the left and one to the right of this hollow. The upper half is narrower, and sub-rectangular, with crenellations at the top edge. Near the top is a heart-shaped hole.

A Medieval lead Papal bulla of Pope Innocent IV, whose papacy lasted from 1243 to 1254 AD. The obverse depicts the faces of St Peter and St Paul below the inscription [SPAS]P[E] (SPA = Sanctus Paulus, SPE = Sanctus Petrus), all of which are surrounded by a beaded border, flanking the outside edge of the bulla. St. Paul is seen on the left looking right, with a long pointed beard, and St. Peter is on the right facing left, with a rounded face and beard and hair formed from pellets. Rim fragment of a Medieval pottery vessel, probably a jug. The fabric is cream coloured with an inner core of black. There appear to be some small inclusions of a brown colour. The rim is slightly widened compared to the rest of the vessel, with a square shaped rim. The wall of the vessel is beginning to curve outwards but has broken before it goes far. The handle begins almost immediately after the rim, sticking out at 90 degrees to the vessel wall, but only a small fragment remains before it has broken.

Medieval lead pilgrims ampulla, dating to c. 1350- 1530. It is flask shaped in plan, as with most ampullae it is fairly flat, although the neck of this example is open. It would have had 2 handles, one on each side but one has broken off. The remaining example shows they were triangular, and placed at the base of the neck.
