Barbed and tanged flint arrowhead, dating from the late Neolithic- early Bronze Age, c. 2500- 1500 BC. Flint barbed and tanged arrowhead with one of the two barbs, and possibly the end of the tang having broken off in antiquity. The arrowhead is triangular in plan with a central narrow tang and two barbs, on e of which projects past the base of the tang, in length, the other is broken and is shorter than the tang. Small flint piece, possibly a small blade. It is made from a white flint with a greyish centre. The bulb of percussion is visible at the base. On the upper (dorsal) surface two flake have been taken off down the central line giving a trapezoidal cross section. This is probably a piece in the process of being worked into a tool which did not continue.

Small flint flake from the prehistoric period, Meolithic- Neolithic. It is made from a white flint with a greyish centre. It is sub-rectangular in plan with an indent on each side at the same level and uneven edges all around. There is a ridge which runs the length of the flake. This is probably a piece in the process of being worked into a tool which did not continue.

Broken flint blade, possibly a Mesolithic knife. It is sub-rectangular in plan with one broken edge where it has snapped. It is made from a toffee-coloured flint with some darker brown and lighter orange patches.The front face (as the photograph) has a large flake taken from the centre running top to bottom with a smaller one either side. At the top is a small fragment of cortext surface, the bulb of percussion is also at this end. A group of 8 small flint flakes, possibly Mesolithic in date. Ranging in size from 20.25mm x 10.27mm to 27.23mm x 16.45mm with a group weight of 13.2g. It is difficult to date flint precisely when it has been found out of context as a stray find, so a cautious date has been assigned to these. Their size suggested to Dr. Young that they could be Mesolithic.

A group of 5 small flint blades, possibly Mesolithic in date. They are all sub-rectangular in plan and have broken at either one or both ends. It is possible they are Mesolithic microliths. Ranging in size from 39.78mm x 10.22mm to 18.41mm x 12.81mm with a group weight of 7.0g. It is difficult to date flint precisely when it has been found out of context as a stray find, so a cautious date has been assigned to these. Their size suggested to Dr. Young that they could be Mesolithic.

Three flint flakes/tools, all made from a light grey flint which has some white patches. Left- Sub-triangular in plan, all the corners are rounded. There is some possible retouch along the edges. This is a blade, probably late Mesolithic in date. Middle- Irregular shaped fragment with one rounded edge. This is most likely to be a flake of early Neolithic date. Right- Late Mesolithic blade, the upper end is pointed and has been retouched on both sides of this point. There is a median ridge running the length of the blade.

Flint flake with signs it had some work to try to make it into a leaf-shaped arrowhead. Neolithic to Bronze Age in date- c.3500- 1500 BC. It is made from a toffee coloured flint with some white inclusions. There is small piece of cortex still remaining on the upper left-hand corner (when viewing photograph). On the upper face there is an almost central ridge running from left to right, formed by two flakes having been taken off.

Flint blade, most likely Neolithic- Bronze Age in date. It is made from a toffee coloured flint with some of the cortex remaining on one edge. This edge is the thickest, narrowing towards the other, curved long edge which has been worked to give it a thin, sharp edge.
