Strap fitting/ Mount Fragment of a cast copper alloy mount, possibly related to harness. This object appears to be broken, and perhaps also mis-cast, making the original form difficult to discern. The body of the mount is rectangular, with a two-part rectangular strap bar on the underside. A projecting segment which may have been an extension on the side of the rectangular body of the mount is now broken. Cast copper alloy Iron Age/Roman anthropomorphic vessel mount. It consists of a human head at the top of a slightly curved linear section (meant to represent the body). The head is round and has detailing picking out the hair and face. The hair is represented by grooved lines radiating from a central point on the top of the head. The eyes are round and hollow, the nose is raised and slightly bulbous. The mouth is a grooved line, almost giving the appearance it has its mouth open. Copper alloy fragment, possibly of a Medieval mount. It has a pointed loop at one end, set perpendicular to the body. This appears to be the original terminal, the opposite end is broken. Next to the loop is a small neck before an oval flat section which then narrows to a small, circular sectioned shaft, broken at the end, which led to the rest of the object.

Copper alloy decorative mount, late Medieval to Post Medieval in date. It is lozengiform in plan with scalloped edges. At the base is the start of an extension, this would have probably led to a loop or hook to attach the mount. The front is decorated in relief with three lines, starting at the base and spreading out, one straight up, and one to either side. The reverse is flat and plain.

Cast copper alloy Medieval box or casket mount, dating from the 13-15th century. It is incomplete, L-shaped in plan with two sections which are connected by a hinge piece. The surface was gilded, small fragments of this now remain on the horizontal section. The mount is flat on the inside/reverse, where it would have attached to the casket/box. Cast copper alloy Medieval mount, most likely from a casket or a box, c. 12-1500 AD in date. It has a rectangular shaft with a fleur-de-lys terminal which has a width of 18.61mm and a thickness of 1.78mm. This terminal has a circular hole in the centre and grooved lines dividing the three segments. There is a small collar where it meets the shaft. The shaft has a D-shaped cross section and is broken at the end, possibly where another fleur-de-lys terminal would have been. There are traces of gilding on the upper surface.

Cast copper alloy belt fitting, probably a sword hanger, from the Late Medieval period. It is linear in form and appears complete apart from the rivets which are missing. It has a thin, rounded terminal extension. It then widens to the main section which is rectangular in plan with a curved hollow profile. Cast copper alloy Medieval belt mount. It is domed with a central circular section and two rectangular terminals, one at each end. There is a perforation in each end with a rivet in each which would have been used to attach the mount to a belt. The rivets are c.4mm long. The central lobe has been crudely cross-hatched Similar examples can be seen in Egan and Pritchards book on Medieval London, p.213-4 (2002).

Cast copper alloy head from a Limoges style figurine of Medieval date. It is a fragment of a mount from a processional cross, dating to circa AD 1200 to 1300. The mount is in the form of the crucified or 'suffering' Jesus, and would have been attached to the processional cross in the centre at the top. Cast copper alloy square domed mount or stud from the Medieval period. It is pyramidal in shape (height 7.36mm) with a flattened tip which has a small circular hollow at the top. It has a small lip on all four edges. Each of the four faces are decorated in the same design, and it is integrally cast. It is floral in design and fairly abstract with raised lines. Cast copper alloy Medieval decorative mount. The mount is irregular in plan as the top section is broken. It was probably meant to be circular when complete. The front has has a lion passant right, the reverse is plain and flat. The lion is in relief and its legs reach the very edge of the mount. There are irregularly shaped holes in between the lions legs, one in front of it and two above its rear end. It has been gilded but most of this is now missing. There are no obvious remains of rivets, they were probably placed through some of the holes and have broken off.
