Copper alloy fragment of a Roman bow brooch, late 1st- 2nd century in date. It is only the head which remains and it has been damaged. It could once have been a trumpet, or maybe a headstud brooch but it is difficult to define clearly. The axis bar remains, held in an integrally cast loop at the back of the head. The part of the brooch which remains is widest at the top of the head and narrows towards where it would have led into the bow. Cast copper alloy Roman strap slide, dating from the 1st- 3rd centuries AD. It is circular in plan and domed, being hollow on the reverse. Its edges are slightly broken but other than that it is complete. It is decorated on the front with a raised triskele motif which was cast integrally. In the centre and at the end of each arm there is a circular dot as extra decoration. The strap slide has a rectangular loop on the reverse to fix it onto the strap.

Cast copper alloy dragonesque brooch dating to c.75-200 AD. It is mostly complete with just the pin and one nose missing. A curvilinear egg-waisted plate with a pelta-derived appendage at each end, these are the heads. It would have been symmetrical when complete. The central section is split in half long ways, with four panels on each side, the two end ones being pointed as the body narrows.
