Flint awl on a primary flake, dating from the Mesolithic period through to the Bronze Age. The outer face is almost entirely covered in the cortext surface. The piece has a triangular terminal at the top (as the photograph) which has been retouched along both edges to form the point. The lower end is the bulb of percussion and as such is wider and rounded at the base being 9.71mm wide compared to 3.7omm at the top. Knapped, ground and polished axe head of probable later Neolithic date (2900-2100 BC). This axe is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and sub-oval (humped) in cross section. In plan the sides of the axe taper from the widest point at the cutting edge to a relatively narrow rounded butt. Width at widest- 55.04mm, at narrowest- 21.30mm. It is mostly complete with just a few chips missing from the edges. It has a white/cream patina and where the surface has chipped away a dark grey stone can be seen. Flint blade, Neolithic in date. It is made from a toffee coloured flint, with some darker patches. It is sub-rectangular in plan with irregular edges. The bulb of percussion can be seen on the bottom (as per the photograph). In cross section it is triangular at the lower end with a central ridge running one third of the length. Neolithic- Bronze Age flint scraper, c. 3500 BC - 800 BC. It is made from a pebble flint, and one face still has the cream coloured cortext remaining. In plan it is almost triangular, with a widened round end, narrowing towards a slightly pointed end. The bulb of percussion is at the narrowest end, with some conchoidal ripples visible. There is a large chip at the wider end which is due to plough damage. Flint scraper, probably Neolithic- Bronze Age in date, c.3500- 800 BC. It is made from a light grey flint with some white inclusions. A very small piece of cortext remains on the base of one edge. In plan it is sub-tear drop in shape, with a rounded base and a pointed tip. Flint flake of Neolithic- Bronze Age date. It is sub-rectangular in plan with rounded edges. In cross section it is D-shaped. The flint is mainly grey but has irregular sized patches of darker grey and white/yellow. There are three main flakes which have been taken off the upper face with a flat top and sloping sides. It is possible that there is retouch along the narrow end but it is faint.

Three flint tools/flakes. Left- A light brown/orange material. It is possibly a late Neolithic tranchet arrowhead. Sub-triangular in plan with the two upper sides being slightly concave and a median ridge on each point from the centre. Middle- Grey material which fades from a dark to a light shade from top to bottom. Irregular in plan with one curved edge. Possibly a late Neolithic- Early Bronze Age scraper. Right- Light grey material. This is most likely debitage but could have been re-used to form a scraper. It is difficult to see the detail from the image
