Harness fitting fragment (?bridle bit) Fragment of a cast copper alloy harness fitting. This Y-shaped fragment, flat on the reverse, with moulded central indentation on the upper surface, is most likely from a bridle bit, forming part of the loop which would have linked the bit ring to the mouthpiece. This object is incomplete with only the loop, shank and a small part of the 'button' remaining. The complete 'button' would have taken the form of an open oval or circle. The flat front face of this ring is decorated with circular indentations, which may have been enamelled. Strap fitting/ Mount Copper alloy strap fitting, broadly cruciform in shape. The main body of the fitting is rectangular in plan, and flat in cross-section. This flat rectangular plate is decorated with an incised motif of a square within a concave-sided triangle at the top and bottom outer edge, which would probably originally have been enamelled. The 'button' takes the form of an open ring, D-shaped in cross-section (flat on reverse) filled with two central circles, which are flat in cross-section. Central section of a copper alloy Post Medieval purse bar. The purse has a rounded oval central loop to attch the purse to the belt. This has a flared collar immediately above the bar, and then a narrower rounded length slots through the boss in the centre of the bar and is secured by a thicker area below the boss.
