Gold sheet dress hook, probably the covering for a copper alloy dress hook. It consists of a sub- body with a rounded terminal from which projects a thin strip. This strip would have bent over to form the hook but it has broken. The upper part of the main body is bent and has uneven edges and top. The front of the body is decorated with an incised semi-circle on each side, just before it narrows towards the rounded end.
