Copper alloy Anglo-Saxon polyhedral pin head. It has 13 faces, 12 of which have ring and dot motifs as decoration. The upper face has a cross on. It has a moulded collar at the junction with the pin. The pin has broken so only a short length remains. The shaft is circular in cross-section.

Copper alloy Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch dating to the mid to late 6th century. The brooch is nearly complete except for the pin and catchplate which are missing. The brooch can be separated into three primary elements which will be described in turn: the headplate, the bow and the foot. For purposes of description the headplate is at the top. Fragment of Anglo-Saxon/ Viking hacksilver which is cut at both ends. It is roughly rectangular in plan and is a shallow D-shape in section. A clear testing nick can be seen on one edge, which is contemporary with the object. Date: 9th- 11th century.

Cast lead weight with a copper alloy plate on the upper face, Early Medieval in date. It is circular in plan and stands 17.23mm high. The base is lead and is plain. The decorative plate on the upper face is copper alloy. It has a raised central circle which has an incised six petalled flower in the centre. The outer edge is sextfoil in shape with a small lobe in between each lobe. Each lobe has a sub-circular perforation in its centre through which the lead of the base protrudes. Cast copper alloy Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch from the 6th century AD. The side and top knobs are semi-circular and hollow and have been cast integrally to the brooch. The headplate is square with a slightly raised sub-rectangular central panel which runs from the top knob to where the head meets the bow. This panel widens towards the bow. The bow is concave and has a central vertical grooved line as decoration. Cast copper alloy strap end dating to the 9-11th centuries. It is a Thomas Class B Type 4, multi-headed type. Thomas describes Class B strap ends as having a split end and a zoomorphic terminal. The strap end appears complete, with decoration in relief on the front and a flat plain reverse. It has been silvered on the surface. The decoration consists of an animal head terminal above which is another animal head with the back of the heads meeting. This second head then touches noses with another identical animal head. Above this third head is the split terminal which is free from decoration.

Cast copper alloy Early medieval stirrup strap mount. Williams Class B, Type 3, Group 9, dating to the 11th century. The mount is sub-triangular in plan, with a circular extension at the apex. This would originally have had a circular hole in the centre through which a rivet would have gone to secure the mount. The remains of the rivet appear to have corroded onto this and so the loop appears solid. It has raised decoration on the front and is plain on the reverse. A complete lead weight or gaming piece, inset with glass, from the Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) period (AD850-1000). It is conical in shape with a wider base. Cast copper alloy Early Medieval zoomorphic buckle. It is D-shaped with a narrowed strap bar and where the loop meets the strap bar there are animal heads. Their mouths are open and the strap bar comes from here. They have ears picked out but it is difficult to pin down preciseley what animal they are. The buckle appears to have some casting flaws with irregular hollows on one side of the loop and on one head.
