Cast copper alloy fragment of a late Roman belt fitting of some sort. It is incomplete and so is difficult to tell exactly what it was part of. It has uneven broken edges on all four sides. The reverse is plain, on the front is a pattern of ring and dot motifs, seemingly running in diagonal lines, but they are not that uniform, and as only part of the piece remains it is difficult to define the exact pattern. At one end there is a slightly curved section, which projects upwards, perhaps the start of a catch or attachment loop.

Cast copper alloy late Roman belt stiffener. 'Propeller' belt stiffeners have a central roundel and two opposing triangular terminals. This example is very short and squat, with the central section being small, and the terminals larger than seen on other examples. Each terminal has two circular holes, one in each corner, these are for attaching to the belt. Below these holes, each terminal is decorated with two grooved vertical lines (when viewed in photograph). The central section is decorated with a central motif of three punched annulets. There is also an annulet at each edge. …

Cast copper alloy Roman strap slide. It is rectangular in plan and is incomplete with both long edges being broken and uneven. The front face is enamelled with a central line of 4 lozenges filled with yellow enamel. On either side of these lozenges are triangles filled with red enamel and on the outside of these is a row of larger blue triangles. The edges are then broken but it appears that there is a further row of red triangular cells on the outside edge. The reverse is plain and has a rectangular loop which is placed just off-centre.
