Cast copper alloy fragment of a Roman bow brooch, late 1st- 2nd century AD in date. Only the foot and lower part of the bow remains. There are remnants of the catchplate on the reverse. The bow tapers to a point towards the foot, there does not seem to be a widening for the foot. It is very worn and corroded all over, with a light green patina.

Cast copper alloy Roman disc brooch, 2-3rd century AD. It is circular in plan with decoration in relief on the front. The decoration consists of a central cross, with rounded arms, inside two concentric circles. The cross was infilled with blue enamel, some of which remains. Outside the circles is a circle of dots and then a raised border meets the edge of the brooch. It is likely some of these fields would also have been filled with enamel but this is now missing.
