Small body sherd of Nene Valley ware, a colour coated Roman pottery type.
It is triangular in plan. The fabric is a cream colour with the inside suface covered in a dark brown/back slip and the outer in a dark orange. The outer surface also has moulded decoration, in the form of lines, the whole pattern cannot be seen.

Rim and body sherd of a Roman mortaria.
The fabric is cream-orange in colour and the inclusions are varied in size, mainly being grey in colour. The fabric is quite smooth and the grit is fairly well worn. The rim edge has broken off so the profile cannot be seen.
