Cast copper alloy scabbard chape, 12th century in date. The artefact is of thick sheet construction. Having been folded over on itself, it forms a trapezoidal shaped base section. It has 2 arms, meaning it plan it is U shaped. The base section is decorated on one face The arms, rectangular in plan, terminate in a lozenge. The terminals are perforated centrally and attached to each other by an extant rivet. The arms are decorated on one face with incised diagonal lines, running horizontally, along the whole length.

Cast copper alloy Medieval key handle, c.1300- 1500. Only the handle (bow) and the beginning of the shaft remains. It has an openwork quatrefoil shape which has two small projections at the base where it meets the beginning of the shaft. This has a circular cross section, with a widened bead in the centre.

Cast copper alloy handle, possibly from a drawer, Medieval in date. It is unclear whether the ends are broken, and so the piece is complete. The main part is C-shaped in plan, with a small extension at one end. It is facetted, giving it a pentagonal cross section. Marks can be seen on the surface which are file marks.

Cast copper alloy late Medieval- Post Medieval chape, dating from c. 1400- 1600. Only the front (domed) half remains, the flat back having broken away. In plan the chape has a semi-circular lower half with a small extension knop at the base. It is decorated with incised lines, giving a scallop effect which meet at the centre in a semi-circular hollow. Above this are two circular holes, one to the left and one to the right of this hollow. The upper half is narrower, and sub-rectangular, with crenellations at the top edge. Near the top is a heart-shaped hole.

Medieval copper alloy enamelled harness pendant, c. 12-400. It is a quadrilobe in plan, with triangular extensions in each angle. The attachment loop is set perpendicular to the pendant, it is not attached to the cross bar any longer. The front of the pendant is enamelled, the reverse is plain. The design consists of a central square which contains a lion passant left, in relief metal, the field is blue enamel. Cast copper alloy Medieval buckle with a sheet plate. The buckle is oval in plan with a slightly pointed outer edge which has a groove where the pin would have sat. The pin is still present but does not quite reach the edge of the frame. The plate is formed from a rectangular sheet of metal folded in half over the buckle frame. There is a hole at the frame end where the pin sits. The plate is held together by a circular rivet half way down.

Cast copper alloy Medieval harness pendant, c. 1200- 1400. The pendant is shield shaped in plan, with the broken attachment set perpendicular at the top. On the front face there is the top half of an X in red enamel, which would have filled the field. The rest of the field was probably either enamelled in another colour, or gilded. There is a layer of what could be corroded enamel but it no longer has any colour. The reverse is plain. Cast copper alloy coin coin, late Medieval to Post Medieval in date. Obverse- Hand facing upwards= C to right Reverse- 2 crowned busts facing each other. The hand means this is a coin weight from Antwerp. The facing busts probably relate to Ferdinand and Isabella, giving a date of 1469-1504, although it is possible this type carried on past their reign.

Cast copper alloy Medieval annular brooch, c.12-1400 AD. The frame appears complete although some of the edges are uneven. The pin has fused to the frame with corrosion and has broken so it is incomplete. The frame is decorated on the front but not on the reverse. The front appears to have been gilded, some of this remains. The pattern is unclear due to corrosion but it could be a floral/vegetal repeating motif.

Cast copper alloy Medieval mount, most likely from a casket or a box, c. 12-1500 AD in date. It has a rectangular shaft with a fleur-de-lys terminal which has a width of 18.61mm and a thickness of 1.78mm. This terminal has a circular hole in the centre and grooved lines dividing the three segments. There is a small collar where it meets the shaft. The shaft has a D-shaped cross section and is broken at the end, possibly where another fleur-de-lys terminal would have been. There are traces of gilding on the upper surface.

Cast copper alloy late Medieval key. It is complete with a sub-circular bow and a moulded collar before the shaft which is decorated with diagonal lines around the outside. The shaft is circular in cross section and hollow. Half way down there are three grooved lines around the circumference of the shaft. The bit has horizontal lines all across it. It has one main horizontal section with three 'teeth' projecting out from it, two of which are simple rectangles, the third one has an L-shaped extension at the end.

An incomplete copper alloy trebuchet or tumbrel-type folding coin balance probably dating to the 13th, 14th or 15th century. This type of balance for weighing coins was formed from two arms which pivot in the middle allowing the balance to be opened into a cross shape to be used, or folded flat. One arm would have included an integral pan and weight. Only half of the pan arm survives with the pan half itself missing (it measures 58.33mm in length).
