Fragment of worked stone, possibly an architectural fragment or worked stone, of possible Roman date. Broken on 3 sides, fourth side seems to be intact, with a stepped, bevelled or chamfered edge. It is sub-rectangular in plan with dimensions of 90mm x74mm at its greatest and 57mm x 85mm at the smallest. It slopes up to the top and this is smaller. It has a height of 49mm.

Cast copper alloy handle fragment from the Post Medieval period. It is a curved handle which is broken at both ends. The main section has a circular cross section. The top section narrows towards the end and seems to be representing a birds head with the narrowest section being the beak. This would have attached to the piece of furniture which the handle was on, probably a small drawer.

Cast copper alloy headstud Roman brooch dating from c.75-175 AD. It is complete and in good condition. It is a hinged type. The headloop is made from copper alloy wire which loops into the wings and acts as the axis bar on which the pin is attached. At the base of the loop is a rectangular attachment through which the loop runs. At the front it is decorated with a line of vertical grooves along the middle. Copper alloy, silvered and enamelled Roman horse and rider plate brooch. Dating to the late 3rd- 4th centuries AD. It is mostly complete with the pin missing and some wear on the edges. It has been silvered on the front surface, most of which still remains. The back leg and tail of the horse are missing. Copper alloy enamelled disc or plate brooch from the 2nd- 3rd centuries AD. It is hexagonal in plan with a circular plate on each edge, and is raised with a hollow reverse. It is mostly complete with just the pin and one of the six circular plates has broken off. The plate which has broken off would have had the catchplate on the reverse. The top plate has two semi-circular plates set perpendicular to it through which the axis bar would have sat. Copper alloy and enamelled Roman disc brooch dating from the 2nd century AD. It is mostly complete with just the pin missing and some wear around the edges. It is circular in plan and slightly domed. The front is decorated with inlaid enamel in a triskele motif. The outline of the triskele is in raised copper alloy and there is a central circular dot in copper alloy. The inside of the triskele is infilled with red enamel. The outside field is two-thirds black and one-third blue.

Cast copper alloy miniature terret ring from the Roman period. It is D-shaped in section with the reverse being flat and the front slightly domed. It is sub-circular in plan, measuring 19.02mm by 20.89mm in diameter, with the ring widening at the top then narrowing again towards the bottom. At the base is a small sub-triangular moulding which is raised on both front and reverse with a central groove.

The hoop is rectangular in cross-section and the same width/thickness all the way round. On the outer face are vertical lines splitting the hoop into sections all around. Copper alloy key from the Medieval period. It is constructed from a folded sheet. It has a sub-square loop at the end with a circular perforation. The shaft is circular in cross-section and hollow. The bit is simple with just a square taken out from near to the shaft. Below the bit the shaft continues just as a solid cylindrical point much narrower than the shaft.

Two copper alloy Post Medieval tokens. They are both circular in plan. The larger one weighs 5g and has a diameter of 15.97mm and a thickness of 4.35mm. It has the remains of a design on one face but it is not clear what it was. The smaller one weighs 3g and has a diameter of 12.93mm and a thickness of 3.48mm. This is even more worn and corroded and so no detail can be seen.

Small piece of sheet metal with raised decoration on one side of unknown date. It is sub-rectangular in plan and appears to be broken on 3 sides. The top edge appears complete and it is possible this is a rim. There is raised decoration in the form of a horizontal line around half way up the item and above that some further pattern in a linear layout. This could be a decorative fragment from furniture, dress accessory or other item such as a book clasp but so little remains it is difficult to tell. From the patina its date is likely to be Medieval- Post Medieval.
