Rectangular lead weight, Post Medieval in date. It is not quite a rectangle, one end being narrower. It has a grooved pattern on the front, probably meant to represent a scallop. It is possible this was used as a trade weight and that the scallop symbolises a certain weight.

Lead bun-shaped weight with a copper alloy plate on the flat face. Possibly Early Medieval in date, photograph was taken at a club and so detail is not clearly visible. The copper plate appears to have a head in the centre with writing around, all engraved into the surface.

Fragment of Anglo-Saxon/ Viking hacksilver which is cut at both ends. It is roughly rectangular in plan and is a shallow D-shape in section. A clear testing nick can be seen on one edge, which is contemporary with the object. Date: 9th- 11th century.

Cast lead weight with a copper alloy plate on the upper face, Early Medieval in date. It is circular in plan and stands 17.23mm high. The base is lead and is plain. The decorative plate on the upper face is copper alloy. It has a raised central circle which has an incised six petalled flower in the centre. The outer edge is sextfoil in shape with a small lobe in between each lobe. Each lobe has a sub-circular perforation in its centre through which the lead of the base protrudes. Cast copper alloy head from a Limoges style figurine of Medieval date. It is a fragment of a mount from a processional cross, dating to circa AD 1200 to 1300. The mount is in the form of the crucified or 'suffering' Jesus, and would have been attached to the processional cross in the centre at the top. Blue opaque glass diamond-faceted bead of uncertain date. It is 8mm long and 5mm in diameter. It is rectangular with facetted corners at each end. There is a central cylindrical hole running the length of the bead. It is possibly Roman or Early Medieval in date but it is impossible to be certain when found as a stray find. Guido’s book on Anglo-Saxon beads (1999, 50-51) says they could be Roman but some are also found in 6th century (and later) graves.

Cast copper alloy Post Medieval breeching dee. It is assymetrical with a D-shaped loop linking to a slightly narrower rectangular section, the end bar of which extends on both sides past the frame. The D-shaped loop has a circular cross-section, the rest of the object has a rectangular cross-section. This object looks like a buckle, but is in fact a harness fitting which helps to brake a vehicle going downhill so that it doesn't press on the horse's rump. It is known as a breeching dee.

It has eight semi-circular lugs around the outside and the front face is decorated by three concentric raised rings. The reverse is plain. Cast copper alloy Late Iron Age/Roman tankard handle. Originally this would have been a pointed oval in plan but one end has broken off before the point. It is curved when viewed from the side as the ends would have touched the attachment plates and the handle curved outwards from this to form a space.
