Two lead weights, Post Medieval in date. They are sub-rectangular in plan, being rounded and slightly narrowed at the top end. They each have a circular perforation at the top end, presumably for attachment. The base is flat but there is a concave rectangular slot underneath. It is thought this sort of weight was used for fishing but they could have many purposes. Both weights were too heavy for my scales- which go up to 200g. Weight 1- Length- 61.92mm Width- 37.03mm Thickness- 12.17mm Weight 2- Length-63.03mm Width- 36.22mm Thickness- 12.68mm

Lead weight, possibly Roman in date. It is conical in shape with a rounded top and slightly irregular. The flat edge is the upper face and this has a central depression- possibly where an attachment loop once was. The surface is irregular all over due either to corrosion or poor casting of the weight. It was too heavy for my scales which go up to 200g. It has a length/height of 43.36mm and a diameter of 41.70mm.

Lead weight, of uncertain date. It has a thick iron core which has a circular section and has started to corrode and lose its shape. The weight itself is conical in shape with a flat upper and lower edge. The lead is a dark grey which suggests it is not pure lead.

Cast copper alloy ring of uncertain date. It is sub-circular in plan with a rectangular cross section. This type of ring is a common find and could have been used for various purposes. Without finding it in a stratified layer it is difficult to date it accurately but from the patina this example is probably Medieval-Post Medieval in date.
