Copper alloy, gilded late Roman disc brooch with stone insets. These pointed oval disc brooches are a Romano-British design and date to the late 3rd- 4th centuries. This is an unusual example as it has insets around the edge of the typical central one.

A copper-alloy Roman as of Sabina, dating to the period AD 128 (Reece period 6). Reverse type probably depicting Ceres seated left on modius holding corn-ears and torch. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC II, p. 476, no. 1023. This is probably a coin of British Association similar to examples noted at the Sacred Spring in Bath, D. Walker, 1988: p. 293, nos. 3-4, 6-20, pl. XXXIV.

Cast copper alloy late Iron Age- early Roman terret ring. It is a plain type with a rectangular ring at the top for straps to run through. The hoop narrows towards the bottom and is broken although it appears complete with the two ends touching. The hoop is circular in cross section. It has an uneven patina, mianly brown with green patches where the surface has corroded.

Cast copper alloy Roman headstud brooch, dating to c.75-175 AD. The integrally cast headloop has broken and around half is missing. The wings are square and are decorated with vertical grooved lines, three on each side. The headstud has been cast integrally to the bow and consists of a circular stud with a central circular hollow, possibly once filled with enamel. Part of a cast copper alloy Roman belt slide. This would originally have been rectangular in plan with a rectangular attachment loop on each end. Around half now remains, one end, with one loop. The front is decorated with intergally cast decoration leaving hollows for enamel. At the end are two circular dots each with a concentric circle inside, with different coloured enamel. The decoration appears to have been cast with the making of the brooch. The reverse is flat and has no decoration. The head has a groove for the mouth and a circular hollow to indicate the eye.
