Cast lead Medieval spindle whorl. It is circular in plan and is flat. It has a central circular hole and has raised decoration on both faces. The decoration is different on each face. On one side it consists of lines radiating out from the central hole to the edge. The other side appears to be three letters with a cross, although the letters are not clear.

Late Medieval lead pilgrims ampulla. It is mostly complete but one of the side lugs is missing and the mouth is cracked. The chamber is roughly circular in plan narrowing to the neck which is rectangular. The one remaining side lug is triangular. There is a design in relief on one face of the chamber. It is worn but appears to consist of a 6 pointed double line star in the centre with short radiating lines around it reaching to the edges.

Lead bun-shaped weight with a copper alloy plate on the flat face. Possibly Early Medieval in date, photograph was taken at a club and so detail is not clearly visible. The copper plate appears to have a head in the centre with writing around, all engraved into the surface.

Cast lead weight with a copper alloy plate on the upper face, Early Medieval in date. It is circular in plan and stands 17.23mm high. The base is lead and is plain. The decorative plate on the upper face is copper alloy. It has a raised central circle which has an incised six petalled flower in the centre. The outer edge is sextfoil in shape with a small lobe in between each lobe. Each lobe has a sub-circular perforation in its centre through which the lead of the base protrudes. Large shield shaped lead weight, late Medieval- Post-Medieval in date. It is most likely to be a trade weight. It has decoration in relief on the front and is flat on the reverse. The decoration consists of a raised shield shape leaving a lower border. In this there is a central fleur-de-lis with a design above which is slightly unclear but could be a cross with longer horizontal arms than vertical ones. It was too heavy for my scales whcih go up to 200g.

Cast lead Medieval ampulla. An incomplete cast lead pilgrim ampulla of Medieval date (c. 1350-c. 1500). The ampulla is incomplete. The suspension loops are missing (only the stubs have survived) and the mouth has ragged breaks. The neck is relatively long and flares outwards and upwards from the body towards the mouth. Cast lead lid from a small pot, probably Post Medieval in date. It would have been circular when complete but it is missing one part and has also been bent out of shape. It has some cracks also. The upper face is decorated with a design in relief. It consists of a central circle with lines radiating out to the edge. Inside the circle (although not clear on the image) is face with pointed oval eyes, a long nose and a small pursed mouth. It is probably meant to be the sun.

Lead conical bell, Late Medieval- Post Medieval in date. It has depictions of human faces on four sides which appear to have been painted on after the item was cast. They are simple line drawings in black and show differing emotions; one happy, one sad and two undetermined. It has a height of 29.13mm and has a alightly thickened rim. At the top of the bell is the remains of what appears to be a loop or handle which has broken, just the base remaining.
