A complete lead weight or gaming piece, inset with glass, from the Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) period (AD850-1000). It is conical in shape with a wider base. The diameter is 11.35mm at the top and 13.58mm at the bottom. The top has a domed stone set in which is a dark blue. This record was edited and the date of the object reassessed following reappraisal by Prof. Julian Richards. Lead Medieval spindle whorl. Complete circular spindle whorl which is biconical and has a central circular perforation, now filled with accretions from the river. It has decoration in relief on both sides which consists of lines radiating from the centre to the edge, splitting the area into five sections. Four of these have three dots, one has two, it appears this was a mistake and all sections were meant to be the same.

Lead Post Medieval sack seal. Complete circular seal with two circular discs and the folded attachment loop. One disc has a pineapple with a plume on top in relief. The other side has a central circular depression, over which is an A in relief with an annulet to right and below. The A stands for Augsburg, Germany. Seals from the fustians of Augsburg are among the most common and widespread of all recorded imports in England according to Egan. This example is similar to nos. 308-10 in his book 'Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum'.

Lead Post Medieval sack seal. It has not been used as the two discs have not been folded onto each other. There is a complete circular disc and a disc with a central hole which would have fitted onto the stud on the complete disc. This disc has a shield in relief which has fleur-de-lis in the quarters which can be seen.
