Two lead Medieval spindle whorls. They are biconical in form, circular in plan and have a central circular perforation. Both are decorated with lines and dots in relief although they are worn. Combined weight of 63.6g and an average diameter of 29mm.

Lead bag/cloth seal from the 19th century. It is sub-circular in plan and has been bent. The upper face has three lines of letters in relief, they are worn and so difficult to read but could be cyrillic as Russian seals are known in Britain.

Cast lead Medieval spindle whorl. It is circular in plan with a central circular perforation. There is a raised border around the central perforation. It is flat and is decorated in relief on both faces. The decoration is worn, particularly on one face meaning it is difficult to see clearly. The left hand side on the image is the most worn and there appear to be some dots and lines. The right hand side has a pattern of V + V + V +.

Cast lead weight from the late Medieval- Post Medieval period. It is shield shaped in plan with slightly rounded and uneven edges. There is an incised design on the front, a crude privy mark. It takes the form of a W inside the outline of a purse (of late 15th-early 15th century type) and is probably the owners mark.

Lead weight, possibly Roman in date. It is conical in shape with a rounded top and slightly irregular. The flat edge is the upper face and this has a central depression- possibly where an attachment loop once was. The surface is irregular all over due either to corrosion or poor casting of the weight. It was too heavy for my scales which go up to 200g. It has a length/height of 43.36mm and a diameter of 41.70mm.

Two lead weights, Post Medieval in date. They are sub-rectangular in plan, being rounded and slightly narrowed at the top end. They each have a circular perforation at the top end, presumably for attachment. The base is flat but there is a concave rectangular slot underneath. It is thought this sort of weight was used for fishing but they could have many purposes. Both weights were too heavy for my scales- which go up to 200g. Lead conical weight, probably Post Medieval in date. It is conical with a central circular perforation all the way through. It was found with a lead nail through the hole. The nail has a sub-circular cross section and a sub-circular head. It is an unusual form but is likely to be some sort of weight. The conical item has a weight of 32.9g, a height of 19.86mm and a diameter of 19.85mm. The nail weighs 12.9g, has a length of 33.91mm and a diameter at the head of 10.99mm.

Skirt from a lead figurine of a lady. Post Medieval in date. The piece is triangular in plan and flat. It has decoration in relief on both faces. The front has a border of three rows of squares and is plain in the middle. The reverse is covered in cross- hatching. The piece has broken at the apex of the triangle where the skirt would have met the body.

Lead Medieval toy jug. It is missing the handle but otherwise is complete and unusually for this type of object has not been squashed flat and so still retains its original shape. It has a bulbous lower half with a flat base. It then narrows to a thin circular-sectioned neck. The base of the handle still remains at the junction with the neck and the lower half. Lead conical bell, Late Medieval- Post Medieval in date. It has depictions of human faces on four sides which appear to have been painted on after the item was cast. They are simple line drawings in black and show differing emotions; one happy, one sad and two undetermined. It has a height of 29.13mm and has a alightly thickened rim. At the top of the bell is the remains of what appears to be a loop or handle which has broken, just the base remaining.
