Lead Post Medieval seal, possibly an alnage seal.
It is sub-circular in plan with an irregular raised edge and a single rectangular extension which would have attached this part of the seal to the reverse. The front is decorated with a shield split into quarters, the design not being clear.

Lead bale seal, 17-18th century in date.
It is sub-circular in plan with relief designs on both faces. The obverse is two lines of writing '12K/ WLI', the reverse is a square shield with a cross in the centre. In the top left quarter are 5 pellets, arranged in an X-formation. The shield is surrounded by a border of pellets.
A bale seal is different to a cloth seal, it is put on the outside of a bale of cloth or other merchandise, usually on string.
This seal was found in the same field as 6 others.
