Lead Post Medieval token, 17-18th century in date. It is circular in plan with decoration in relief on both faces. One face has a four pointed star, the other is unclear due to wear. Tokens such as this could have been used for a variety of purposes, gaming, counting, weighing etc and were used for a long period.

Lead Post Medieval token, 17-18th century in date. It is circular in plan with decoration in relief on both faces. One face has an anchor, the other appears to be a representation of a palm leaf with a central vertical line, and multiple lines coming off at both sides, facing upwards. Tokens such as this could have been used for a variety of purposes, gaming, counting, weighing etc and were used for a long period.

Cast lead Medieval spindle whorl. It is circular in plan, and biconical with a central circular perforation. The decoration on both faces consists solely of lines, in relief. One face is split into sections by lines radiating from the centre, with two horizontal lines in each section. The other face is more abstract.

Gold Post Medieval finger ring, uncertain date. A plain gold band, with a slightly raised central ridge on the outside. The ring has been squashed out of shape but originally but have been round. The band is thin, and flat on the inside. Judy Rudoe (British Museum) has seen an image of this ring and is happy that it is undiagnostic, so cannot be assigned a pre-1700 date. As such it does not constitute Treasure.

Silver locket pendant, 17th century. The pendant is oval in plan and rectangular in section, made of four components, two sheets of silver cut in an oval shape, soldered onto the lengths of a rectangular sheet of silver that acts as the siding of the pendant. Early Medieval lead weight, Viking in style; sub-circular in plan, and flat. It has glass set into the top face in a sub-circle. The glass is a light blue colour (although this may be due to deterioration) and has cracked, with a small fragment missing. The edges of the weight are rounded and the sides and bottom are plain and smooth with no marks or decoration. Medieval copper alloy rectangular strap fitting with central bar and missing its pin, or alternatively a possible strap loop. Most likely 14th century. It is sub-rectangular in plan with a scallop on the outer edge (width of scallop- 10.86mm). It has been squashed slightly out of shape. The central bar is not in the middle, meaning one section is larger than the other. There has been some discussion on the PAS FLO Forum as to whether these objects are buckles, as none have been found with a pin and the height of the axis bar would make it rather clumsy. Cast copper alloy Late Iron Age/Roman tankard handle. Originally this would have been a pointed oval in plan but one end has broken off before the point. It is curved when viewed from the side as the ends would have touched the attachment plates and the handle curved outwards from this to form a space. It has been silvered/tinned on the outer face, most of which remains. It is also decorated with parallel grooved lines which follow the shape of the handle.
