Silver penny of Henry VI (1422-61), Trefoil issue, minted in Calais. Martin Allen and Barrie Cook have seen this and comment 'We can make a basic assumption that this represents the last batch of dies provided for the Calais mint, before it disappeared for good.' This is an unknown coin, the first penny of Calais known of this type.
