A Medieval lead Papal bulla of Pope Innocent IV, whose papacy lasted from 1243 to 1254 AD. The obverse depicts the faces of St Peter and St Paul below the inscription [SPAS]P[E] (SPA = Sanctus Paulus, SPE = Sanctus Petrus), all of which are surrounded by a beaded border, flanking the outside edge of the bulla. St. Paul is seen on the left looking right, with a long pointed beard, and St. Peter is on the right facing left, with a rounded face and beard and hair formed from pellets. Cast copper alloy handle, possibly from a drawer, Medieval in date. It is unclear whether the ends are broken, and so the piece is complete. The main part is C-shaped in plan, with a small extension at one end. It is facetted, giving it a pentagonal cross section. Marks can be seen on the surface which are file marks.

It has an openwork quatrefoil shape which has two small projections at the base where it meets the beginning of the shaft. This has a circular cross section, with a widened bead in the centre.

The outer edge is decorated with a single row of red enamelled dots, some of which are missing the enamel. The central section looks like a 'swash-N' (as described by Macgregor, 1976) which consists of a 4-armed motif with each arm meeting a corner of the lozenge. Cast copper alloy Late Iron Age- early Roman cosmetic mortar of end-looped type. It has a crescent shaped bow that is U-shaped in section with one pointed terminal end and an incomplete looped terminal at the other. It is from a set which would have seen the pestle fitting into the mortar. On the interior surface is a central groove that is pointed-oval shaped in plan. Copper alloy and enamel cast-cell stud from the late Iron Age- early Roman period. It is circular in plan, flat on the top (enamelled face) and curved on the base. The base is plain and shows no obvious traces of attachment or remains of a stud. The front is split into three rows of three cells by raised lines of copper alloy. This gives a chequerboard pattern. The cells are filled with enamel, alternating red and yellow. Silver-plated sceatta, possibly copying a Primary Series A1 type. There are traces of a bust right, apparently with a radiate crown (cf. Abramson p. 94, Primary Series A, type 2a, A050). The reverse has a large O to one side with angular features, similar to some of the more degenerate types (cf. Abramson p. 95, Rigold $?, R1z/R1b, R160). Prototype, c. 680-710.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval buckle dating to c. 900- 1200 AD. It is D-shaped in plan with a narrowed strap bar. The terminals of the loop are zoomorphic in form with the strap bar connecting two heads of animals. These are stylised animals seen on various objects from this period and could be dogs/dragons/dolphins, it is difficult to see. They have a rounded head with inset eyes and an elongated snout. The strap bar is worn and very narrow at one point, the pin is missing. The buckle has an even patina of reddish-brown.
