Cast copper alloy Roman penannular brooch, a Fowler Type A3, dating to c.100- 350 AD. The brooch itself is complete, although the pin is broken. The brooch has been squashed out of shape, probably whilst in the ground. It has golbular terminals, each with a single moulded collar. One of the terminals appears to have an extra bit of metal, it could be a mis-cast which was not cleaned up. Fragment from a copper alloy Roman headstud brooch, c. 75-175 AD. The wings are cylindrical, the top of the pin still remains. It is quite worn and corroded and the headstud is visible only as a raised dot at the top of the bow. The bow narrows towards the foot but is broken half way down. It is flat and is decorated on the front with two vertical lines which presumably ran the length of the bow.

Copper alloy and enamelled Roman disc brooch dating from the 2nd century AD. It is mostly complete with just the pin missing and some wear around the edges. It is circular in plan and slightly domed. The front is decorated with inlaid enamel in a triskele motif. The outline of the triskele is in raised copper alloy and there is a central circular dot in copper alloy. The inside of the triskele is infilled with red enamel. The outside field is two-thirds black and one-third blue.

Copper alloy enamelled disc or plate brooch from the 2nd- 3rd centuries AD. It is hexagonal in plan with a circular plate on each edge, and is raised with a hollow reverse. It is mostly complete with just the pin and one of the six circular plates has broken off. The plate which has broken off would have had the catchplate on the reverse. The top plate has two semi-circular plates set perpendicular to it through which the axis bar would have sat.
