Cast copper alloy Roman enamelled disc (sunburst), late 1st-mid 3rd century AD in date. It is mostly complete with just small parts of the disc having broken off, and the pin missing. The disc would have been circular when complete. The design consists of a central circle which would have been filled with enamel, although it is now empty. This has a raised edge. Cast copper alloy harness fitting, Post Medieval in date. Broad loop, a flattened oval when viewed in plan. The main part of the loop has a sub-circular cross-section, with a narrower section on the long bottom edge (measuring 17.18mm in width). The upper long edge widens, giving the impression of a bezel, pointed oval in shape, which has four grooved lines and ridges. A similar item, although in silver has been recorded on the PAS database as SWYOR-BO3DE1.

Cast copper alloy Medieval mount, most likely from a casket or a box, c. 12-1500 AD in date. It has a rectangular shaft with a fleur-de-lys terminal which has a width of 18.61mm and a thickness of 1.78mm. This terminal has a circular hole in the centre and grooved lines dividing the three segments. There is a small collar where it meets the shaft. The shaft has a D-shaped cross section and is broken at the end, possibly where another fleur-de-lys terminal would have been. There are traces of gilding on the upper surface.

Cast copper alloy fragment of a late Roman belt fitting of some sort. It is incomplete and so is difficult to tell exactly what it was part of. It has uneven broken edges on all four sides. The reverse is plain, on the front is a pattern of ring and dot motifs, seemingly running in diagonal lines, but they are not that uniform, and as only part of the piece remains it is difficult to define the exact pattern. At one end there is a slightly curved section, which projects upwards, perhaps the start of a catch or attachment loop.

Cast copper alloy belt fitting, Post Medieval in date. It has been mis-cast and so the loop is mis-shapen. The body of the fitting ends in a pointed terminal. There is a raised line, then a rounded middle section, with a raised line above it before the body meets the loop. The body is concave and hollow on the reverse. It has three circular holes, one near the terminal and two on the middle section, these would have been to attach the fitting to the clothing or belt. The loop is mis-shapen, and has a smaller circular loop at what would have been the top.

Copper alloy tweezers on a circular ring, probably Early Medieval in date, c. 600- 1100 AD. The ring is plain and appears to have been cast, it has a circular cross section. The diameter of the ring is 21.63mm with a thickness of 2.66mm. The tweezers themselves are symmetrical and have been attached to the ring by folding in half, over the ring. They have a D-shaped cross section, with the flat side facing inwards, most of the way down, until they being to widen, and flatten out at the terminals. Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch, c.75-175 AD. It is worn all over and incomplete. The headloop is broken, as is the pin (it was a hinged type). The head is the usual trumpet shape although it is quite thin. The bow has a circular cross section and widens towards the moulding at the waist, the moulding is a large raised curved ridge, with a smaller line above and below. The bow below the waist begins to narrow towards the foot but has broken before it reaches it.

An incomplete copper alloy trebuchet or tumbrel-type folding coin balance probably dating to the 13th, 14th or 15th century. This type of balance for weighing coins was formed from two arms which pivot in the middle allowing the balance to be opened into a cross shape to be used, or folded flat. One arm would have included an integral pan and weight. Only half of the pan arm survives with the pan half itself missing (it measures 58.33mm in length). Lead Medieval seal matrix, c.1200- 1400. It was originally vesica shaped but has broken almost in half. It is also bent so that the edges now curve slightly downwards. The central motif appears to be either a corn ear or another plant. The inscription reads 'S'INCH....' So it is a person seal, unfortunately not enough of the legend can be made out to work out who owned it. On the reverse, near to the top is a small rounded loop, now filled with mud.

Cast copper alloy annular Medieval buckle. The frame is circular in form and D-shaped in section with a pin constriction to one side. This holds in place a copper-alloy pin formed from a sheet folded over the central bar, it narrows slightly towards the end which just touches the outer frame. At the centre of the frame is an integrally cast copper-alloy bar that appears to be cylindrical in form. Cast copper alloy Early Medieval key, dating from the pre-conquest period up to c.1200. It is incomplete, the bow being broken. It would have been oval in shape but more than half is missing. It meets the stem in a point with a broken internal element suggesting the bow may have been openwork. The stem is very short, it has a sub-circular cross-section and is hollow; it is broken slightly at the end. The bit is a rectangle, protruding at 90 degrees from the stem. Cast copper alloy Roman key handle/bow. Only the bow remains, having broken where it would meet the shaft. This is a deviant on the usual fleur-de-lis style handles. It has two curved lobes at the base with circular perforations. The upper section consists of a scroll motif with the ends curling back towards the centre. At the base, there is a rectangular section with two raised transverse ribs. This narrows to where it would have met the shaft. There is some iron corrosion, suggesting the shaft was made from iron.

Cast copper alloy Late Medieval rotary key . Only part of the shaft and the bit remains. The shaft is sub-circular in cross section and hollow. It has broken shortly after the bit. The bit consists of two parts, separated by a cleft, both with four raised transverse ridges. One is a single prong, the other has a rectangular section taken out of the top ridge.

Cast copper alloy Roman key handle. The key is incomplete with only the openwork trilobate or 'fleur de lys' handle surviving. On top of the central lobe is an integral globular knop. All three recesses of the fleur are in the shape of a key-hole with narrowed lower halves. The two outside lobes have a curved extension from their sides. The openwork lobes are situated on top of a double rectangular collar which is cracked in the centre. It then narrows to where it would have attached to the shaft but this is now broken.
