Cast copper alloy Iron Age/ Roman mount or fitting. On the left are two circular concave discs, one above the other, touching. From the space in between the two discs, on the right-hand side, is an openwork teardrop shape, lying vertically. At the rounded end is another circular concave disc, this one is slightly larger than the other two. These discs could have been filled with enamel or other decorative material but none now remains. The reverse of the mount is flat with the remains of a fitting on the back of the largest disc. It is broken and it is not clear …

Copper alloy decorative mount, late Medieval to Post Medieval in date. It is lozengiform in plan with scalloped edges. At the base is the start of an extension, this would have probably led to a loop or hook to attach the mount. The front is decorated in relief with three lines, starting at the base and spreading out, one straight up, and one to either side. The reverse is flat and plain.
