Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch, c.75-175 AD. It is worn all over and incomplete. The headloop is broken, as is the pin (it was a hinged type). The head is the usual trumpet shape although it is quite thin. The bow has a circular cross section and widens towards the moulding at the waist, the moulding is a large raised curved ridge, with a smaller line above and below. The bow below the waist begins to narrow towards the foot but has broken before it reaches it.

An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of the dragonesque type, dating from the Roman period (c.AD50-200). Cast copper alloy Roman key handle/bow. Only the bow remains, having broken where it would meet the shaft. This is a deviant on the usual fleur-de-lis style handles. It has two curved lobes at the base with circular perforations. The upper section consists of a scroll motif with the ends curling back towards the centre. At the base, there is a rectangular section with two raised transverse ribs. This narrows to where it would have met the shaft. There is some iron corrosion, suggesting the shaft was made from iron.

Cast copper alloy Roman key handle. The key is incomplete with only the openwork trilobate or 'fleur de lys' handle surviving. On top of the central lobe is an integral globular knop. All three recesses of the fleur are in the shape of a key-hole with narrowed lower halves. The two outside lobes have a curved extension from their sides. The openwork lobes are situated on top of a double rectangular collar which is cracked in the centre. It then narrows to where it would have attached to the shaft but this is now broken. A corroded cast copper-alloy key handle of Roman date. The bow consists of a simple moulded openwork trefoil design. The sides loops are small with circular perforations. The central recess is linear with rounded ends. The bow connects to a circular-sectioned solid shaft which may have had moulding on, but it is now very worn. The shaft is broken a short way down, with most of it missing. The object now has a variable mid-green patina.

Cast copper alloy Roman nail cleaner with transverse grooves no neck, dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. It is incomplete, having broken before the end. The loop is cast integrally to the nail cleaner and is set perpendicular to the blade. There is moulded decoration below the loop, before it meets the blade. This consists of 6 or 7 transverse grooves. The blade itself would have been leaf-shaped in plan but it has broken, probably at the widest point. On one face it is decorated with punched ring and dot motifs which appear to run the whole length in a single line.

Copper alloy cast Roman terret, probably a pole-mounted and knobbed type dating to the 1st- 2nd century AD. The loop is circular with three knobs, one at the top and one on each side. The two side knobs have been worn down. The loop itself is also worn through at one point, most likely from use. The loop has a rounded section below, which was decorated with two transverse grooves (now almost worn away) which then narrows to a rectangular sectioned, thinner terminal. This presumably would have been where it attached to the cart or chariot.

Cast copper alloy Roman rotary key handle/bow. It is an open work trilobate/ fleur-de-lis design with part of the iron shaft still remaining. The terminal has a smal rounded knop and in the angles there are small extensions. The central bar separating the two bottom lobes has broken, leaving it more like a C-shape. The handle widens from the bow, and has two transverse ridges. It then appears to be attached to the iron shaft, broken almost immediately afterwards.
