Tinned bronze spherical bell. A cast crotal bell- probably tinned bronze, this gives it its black patina. It is complete with the suspension loop also remaining. There are two large sound holes on the upper half placed perpendicular to the sound slot on the lower half. The two halves are separated by a prominent median ridge. There does not appear to have been any decoration as the surface is smooth.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment made from cast copper alloy. The face is decorated in relief and is convex in section, with a hollow-cast back. The fragment comes from the foot of the brooch and is in the form of a horse's head. The horse's two sub-circular nostrils are developed into little Style I birds' heads. There is a fan-shaped extension between the nostrils.

Cu alloy cast buckle from the early Post-Medieval period. A Cu alloy double looped buckle of trapezium shape. The pin is still present and the buckle is compelete. It is a spur buckle. This type of buckle, Marshall Type IIID, dates to the mid-17th century.

Cu alloy fragment of a dagger chape. It is incomplete, the upper end is broken, the lower end is still intact. It is conical in shape, triangular in section and in plan is sub-rectangular. It was found in the same place as a possible hilt plate fragment (NCL-B9B723) and a strap slide (NCL-B9CE52) so it is likely that they are related.

It was found in the same place as a dagger chape (NCL-B988B6) and a possible hilt plate fragment (NCL-B9B723) and so could be related.

Copper alloy seal matrix, medieval in date (probably 14th century). The matrix has a circular die and a hexagonally faceted conical handle rising to a flattened attachment loop which is pointed at the top and has a central circular perforation. The central motif is a Lamb and Flag (also called an Agnus Dei, meaning Lamb of God). Copper alloy finger ring, of Roman date. A copper alloy ring which has been cast. The bezel is oval in shape and contains blue glass which has now shattered. The glass would have sat flush with the line of the metal. The ring itself appears free of decoration and the surface is smooth. It is a Henig 1974 Type 2 and dates to between the first and third centuries AD.

At the top is the attachment piece, the bottom is where the hook should be but this is missing. The attachment end is an almost triangular open piece, before the point there is some decoration. Cu alloy dress fastener of Medieval date, possibly Tudor. A cast Cu alloy clothes fastener which appears complete- the hook and attachment loop are both present. The attachment loop is square ended. An incomplete flask shaped ampulla. It has a flaring upper half and a circular lower half . It is decorated on both sides on the lower circular half. One side has two letters in relief a 'h' set veritcally above a 'w' . On the other side is a decorated circle which is split in half by a line. Each half of the circle has symmetrical designs in it.

A medieval silver annular brooch, formed of a decorated hoop, two flowers arranged symmetrically with the pin at the centre, and a constriction to hold the pin. There is some evidence of gilding still present and the hoop is also delicately engraved. Date: 13th - early 14th century

Cast copper alloy Medieval stirrup shaped finger ring. This type of ring is dated from the 12-13th century. The hoop is bent and measures 28mm by 19mm. The bezel is sub-circular and has a diameter of 10mm. It is a large bezel, projecting c.10mm upwards from the hoop. Inside the bezel is a red substance, possibly enamel on which there would have been a design. The design has been worn off and is no longer visible. Similar items can be seen in the Salisbury Museum catalogue, p.44, nos. 1 and 2. Although these examples are slightly more delicate and pointed.
