A probably Roman silver finger-ring. This is a fragment and includes the bezel and approximately 45 percent of the hoop. The bezel comprises a slightly raised rectangular section (length 8.6mm; width 7.24mm). The front of the bezel has a small pattern cut in negative relief, possibly representing a bird in profile. Alternatively this may not be a pattern, merely damage. The hoop on either side of the bezel has been moulded to form a beaded section 10.26mm long. The reverse is plain and the hoop has a D-shaped section. Dimensions: approximate diameter 23.13mm; Weight 3.94g

A late Bronze Age copper alloy fragment of a socketed axehead (circa 1150-1050 BC). The fragment comprises a section of the rim of the socket. The rim has a D-shaped cross-section. Below the rim is a groove and then a raised ridge. The breaks have the same mid green patina as the rest of the surface suggesting the damage occurred in antiquity. A middle - late Bronze Age copper alloy blade fragment from a sword (circa 1275-800 BC). The blade has a diamond-shaped cross-section and parallel-edges. The midrib is separated from the edge bevels by a slight hollowing. Both short edges of the fragment are breaks and the breaks have the same mid green patina as the rest of the surface suggesting the damage occurred in antiquity. A Middle Bronze Age copper alloy socketed spearhead with side loops (circa 1500-1150BC). The blade is a pointed oval in plan with clearly defined angled edge bevels. The midrib is angled and extends from the socket to the tip creating a lozengiform cross-section to the blade. Approximately halfway down the socket are the side loops. The side loops are lozengiform in plan and almost flat in cross-section. Small sections of the edge of the socket are broken and missing. Dark green patina. A Middle Bronze Age copper alloy small socketed spearhead with side loops (1,500-1,150 BC). The spearhead is small (length: 80.66mm) with a small blade (length 34mm). The blade has curved edges with a pronounced angular midrib that extends onto the socket. There is a casting hole adjacent to one of the side loops. The socket extends along and into the blade. A Medieval stone (sandstone) decorative carving, Professor Rosemary Cramp suggests it is a fragment of a holy water stoup or piscina(11th-12th century).
