A medieval-post medieval copper alloy hooked mount, possibly a sword belt fitting. It has a moulded body similar in form to a lis. The terminal is tri-lobed and there are two curled projections at the base. The hook projects between them and the tip is now missing. Two iron rivets remain in-situ. In plan the mount is shaped like a flat torso and although it is decorated with curved incised lines it lacks further representative human features. There is a circular hole between the shoulders of the mount. The mount is probably from an item of furniture or a casket and probably dates to the 17th-18th century.
