A flint core dating to the Mesolithic period (c.10,000 to 4001 BC). The core is roughly rectangular in plan and both ends have irregular breaks. Blade removal scars are visible on the surface. This core would have been used to produce microliths. The flint has a patinated white surface.

A Prehistoric stone mace-head or hammer of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (8300 - 2100 BC). The object is broadly oval in plan with a lenticular profile and rounded sides. Both faces are slightly convex. There is a drilled circular perforation at the centre of the item. The perforation measures c.22mm diameter at each face and c.15mm in the middle, creating an hour-glass shaped profile for the perforation. Prehistoric flint scraper which has been re-used as a strike- a- light. The flint has been re-touched around the edges for use as a scraper. Damage is also visible on the surface, where the flint scraper has later been used as a strike-a -light in order to create a spark to light a fire. The flint is black in colour with a small amount of grey flecks. Cortex still remains on part of the surface of the flint.
