A Neolithic flint fragment, most likely from a dagger. The object is trapezoidal and is part of the cental section of a dagger, snapped off at both terminals, and with retouched edges. There is bifacial working with striations visible on the raised areas of the body, resulting from partial polishing, which may have occurred before the final flaking. Colin Pendleton has observed that the flint is pale grey, of the type more usually associated with axe manufacture, suggesting that the material may have been mined. The axe is lozengiform in section and measures xx in length. It is made on grey flint and has all-over working. It is incomplete due to old breaks at one corner.
