A Medieval lead ampulla fragment. It is the lower part of a pouch-shaped vessel, and as such is an oval shape. The obverse has moulded transverse lines decorating a narrow border around the outside edge, and the central field is plain, except for an emblem of a similar pouch shape, shaded with cross-hatching. The reverse has a scallop shell design. The upper part of the ampulla is missing due to old breaks. The object measures 35.54mm in length, 29.71mm in width, 5.62mm in thickness and weighs 27.78g. It has a cross moulded in relief with the arms c.3.7mm in width meeting at the centre. The weight measures 68.3mm in diameter, about 10mm in thickness and weighs 249.23g (a little over 8 oz).It was probably used as a trade weight.

A lead medieval ampulla fragment. It consists of the lower pouch-shaped part of the ampulla, with the upper part missing due to old breaks. There is moulded decoration on both sides, with a scallop shell occupying the entire field on one side, and a crown over W on the other. This indicates an association with the site of Walsingham. The ampulla fragment measures 27.7mm in surviving length, 26.19m in width and 4.37mm in thickness. It weighs 17.65g. A Post-Medieval lead apothecary weight block. The object is incomplete due to old breaks, and comprises a little over 75% of a square lead plate 25.16mm x 24.82mm. This has been cast to make four weights, three of which are intact and the fourth is mostly missing. Each has a square frame containing a motif resembling a letter M with pellets along each arm. A Medieval seal matrix. It is circular, and is a personal seal. In the centre of the field is a device showing five leaves arranged in a five-pointed star shape, within an inner circle. A lead pot mend of irregular shape. One side is flat and approximately rectangular. There is a smaller lead plug behind this, and a fragment of medieval or later coarseware pottery can be seen sandwiched between the two layers of lead. The fabric of the pottery includes a fine quartz/quartzite temper and shows many tiny voids where tempering has been lost during firing.The pot mend measures 45.03mm in length, 37.21mm in width, 11mm in thickness and weighs 85.59g.

A Medieval lead seal matrix fragment. It is an oval-shapedmatrix, about half of which is missing due to old breaks. There is a handle at the top, which is twisted sideways and is also incomplete. It does not appear to be a loop handle. The inscription around the edge reads: S I G I LL : S E . In the field are two 8-petalled flowers, a sword and an arm. This might indicate a 'sigillim secretum' or secret seal, where the owner's name was ommitted, and allowed the seal to be passed down from one head of the family to the next.
