A cast copper alloy cup weight of Post-Medieval date. The cup has a flat base and gently flaring sides, most of which have striations cutting into the metal and presumably the result of disturbance by agricultural machinery. The rim is flat and the cup is c.3.2mm in thickness, 24.44mm in diamter across the base and is 21.28mm in height. There are two concentric lines incised around the centre, both inside and out, presumably defining a measure. The cup weighs 53.83g (1.9 oz), and may be part of a nested set. The object's density suggests a high lead content within the copper alloy.

A cast copper alloy Post-Medieval trade weight. It is circular, 14.41mm in diameter, 2.6mm in thickness and weighs 3.10g, which equates to 1/8th of an ounce. There is a small circle stamped at the centre of the upper surface, 2.85mm in diameter. There are two more stamps, including the ewer mark of the London Founders company and a shield, divided into four with a sword in the upper left quadrant. This shield mark is part of the royal cypher, but in the absence of an initial to suggest a monarch, it would suggest that this weight belongs to the Commonwealth period, 1649-1660 AD.

A lead weight, or possible gaming piece of unknown date. It is conical with a roughly circular base 11.9mm in diameter, and is 9.06mm in height. It weighs 5.51g. The object resembles gaming pieces of the Viking period, although unlike this one, these are usually domed and can be hollow. Roman coin weights can be a similar shape, being conical and made of lead, but are generally much larger as with an example from Colchester (Crummy,1983, p.101,no.2510).

Taking the width as the base of the object, the upper terminal, 9.3mm wide, has an oval-shaped hollow a few mm deep at the top . The base is not quite flat so the object does not stand. It weighs 34.6g. Whilst it resembles the medieval 'standing' weights of the 12th to 13th centuries, its lack of flat base and upper terminal loop make this less likely.

a lead weight of probable medieval date. It is a conical standing weight, with flat oval base and sloping sides coming to a squared-off terminal. A vertical grooved line runs from close to the base to the top of the terminal. Weights of this type usually have a hole for suspension. There is a notch near the upper terminal which combined with the vertical groove may have allowed an iron or copper alloy hook to have been attached originally. The weight is 16.51mm in diameter at the base and 21.22mm in length, weighing 25.76g.

a copper alloy weight of probable medieval date. It is square and flat, being 2mm thick and measuring 9.77mm by 10.86mm and weighing 1.48g. The upper surface is decorated with a large square divided into four, with a cruciform pattern set at 45 degrees to the centre, each arm having three parallel lines. The under side is plain and corroded. Whilst it is not possible to identify the purpose of this object with certainty, it does ressemble a medieval bullion weight. (Biggs 1992, p.14)

a lead weight of unknown date. It is cylindrical, 28.75mm in length and 12.43mm wide tapering slightly towards each short terminal. It has been trimmed to produce a roughly square cross-section. It is not hollow, but is pierced at both ends with a narrow circular hole, each for a depth of 10mm . It weighs 28.72g. Weights of this type may have been used for fishing, or as plumb bobs, but as this weight is not hollow it may have had a different function.

a late medieval or Post-Medieval lead trade weight. It is circular, flat and bent, showing signs of recent surface damage. One side has W stamped close to the edge, and I A below this. There are two small square stamps, each at 9mm from the circumference and on the diameter. The weight is 39.93mm in diameter, and weighs 55.59g. This suggests that this may be a two-ounce weight.

A copper alloy object, possibly a weight, of Post-Medieval date. It is a small cube, with side length of 13.55mm. The corners are chamfered to produce irregular hexagonal-shaped faces on four sides. The uppermost face has an integral loop projecting from it, and the object sits flat on the opposite face (base) . This base, along with two of the side faces, has a number of cut marks, which do not form coherent patterns. It is 20.21mm in length (including loop) and 13.55mm wide, weighing 14.41g
