a glass bead, of unknown date but possibly Roman. It is a circular light blue opaque glass bead, 21.16mm in diameter, and 9.9mm in height. The hole drilled through the centre is 9.35mm in diameter. The bead weighs 5.33g. Roman sherds have been discovered nearby, SF-890B63, which might suggest a Roman date for this bead.

a copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment. It is part of a Colchester derivative type with double pierced lug. The incomplete bow has a D-shaped section, with a slight rib on the upper bow continuing a single grooved line down the length of the bow. Both holes in the lug are incomplete, and only part of one semi-cylindrical wing remains. The catchplate and pin are also missing. The bow brooch fragment measures 27.2mm in length and 24.7mm in width, weighing 6.99g

an incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill (flat wing ends, folded wing ends type, Eastern Group), AD 40-70. Semi-cylindrical wings folded round to form short enclosed sections at either end, but axis bar missing. Rearward facing hook in centre, but spring chord missing. Width across wings is 29.28mm, and the folded ends are 5mm wide. The bow has a faceted back and the moulded front is ribbed. There are traces of white metal on the front surfaces.
