a medieval copper alloy terminal or head from a cross-staff. It is in the form of a decorated lattice-work knob with a tubular socket. The lattice is made with strips 3.25mm wide. The terminal is hexagonal, with each face having a central protruding pellet at the centre of a six-pointed star. The top of the terminal has a six-sided open-wok shape with a cental domed pellet. Silver, penny, Henry I (1100-35), profile/cross fleury type (c.1102-3), Mint: Wilton (Wilts), Moneyer: Sewine, North 1994: p.196 N 858. Confirmed by Martin Allen of the Fitzwilliam Museum, who states that the inscriptions have been obscured by double-striking, but this is identifiable as a coin of the Wilton moneyer Sewine, reading +SEPINE ON PITV. This moneyer is not listed in North, but there is another Henry I type 2 penny of Sewine at the Fitzwilliam Museum, ex Conte (see EMC 1200.0703).

Medieval copper alloy spur buckle, missing its frame. Surviving length 54.61mm, and 13.10mm wide. It weighs 3.74g. One short end has two projecting triangular stubs from the frame, connected by a narrow bar, which forms one side of a D-shaped pin hole,set centrally. A cast copper alloy Medieval bit link terminal from a harness fitting. It has an open oval-shaped head, with three terminal knops at 12, 3, and 6 o'clock. At the 9 o'clock position there is a bar-shaped extension, incomplete due to old breaks, which measures 8.57mm in length. Copper alloy bow brooch of supporting arm type dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period. The pin and spring are missing; the lugs are damaged and it is abraded around the head and foot. A copper alloy early medieval disc brooch. It is circular 23.85mm in diameter, 1mm in thickness and weighs 3.21g. The brooch is extremely worn, but a faint trace of a human head can be seen with a possible halo behind. A medieval copper alloy harness pendant suspension mount. It is a rectangular strap, 8.5mm in width and having a D-shaped section. Each terminal is defined by a transverse ridge behind which is a circle approximately 10mm in diameter with a central rivet still in situ. Lead brooch of 'hub-cap' type (Weetch type 17), of late Early-Medieval date, probably 10th or 11th century. It is circular, 26.7mm in diameter and 1.25mm thick, with a central circular hole (7.65mm in diameter) surrounded by a raised edge. It weighs 10.08g. There are four evenly spaced raised hollow-backed bosses or domes, 4.44mm in diameter, around the edges, each pushed up from the back of the brooch. There is a small sub-circular hole through the lead between two of the domes. There is a lead loop catchplate on the back of the brooch, and remains of an attachment point for a pin.

Part of a copper alloy applied saucer or disc brooch of Early Medieval date. It is the back-plate and is an incomplete disc, 43.92mm in diameter , weighing 3.60g. The edges are broken on an estimated one third of the circumference, and the piece is partly bent, with cracks and fissures as a result of plough damage. An incomplete copper-alloy openwork cross brooch dating to the 9th century AD, of Weetch's type 15.B. Less than half the brooch survives. It consists of a ring-shaped semi-circle, 3.85mm wide and with a reconstructable diameter of 26.5mm, with an openwork pattern of one complete quadrant-shaped hole, and parts of two more. The fragment is a flat band, worn and corroded, but has two transverse lines of decoration, close to one incomplete terminal.
