An incomplete copper alloy Roman nail cleaner. The loop terminal is incomplete, and the shoulder is defined by bead and reel moulding. The shaft is set in the same plane as the loop, and is an elongated leaf-shape, tapering to a narrow rectangular bar with an incomplete terminal with the points missing. The nail cleaner measures 53.29mm in length, 8.53mm in width across the widest part of the shaft, tapering to 2.8mm at the incomplete terminal. It weighs 3.02g. a copper alloy nail of probable Roman date. It has a solid, dome-shaped head, 9.36mm in diameter and 7.8mm in height. The shaft is polygonal and tapers towards a worn point. The shaft measures 18.6mm in length, and the pin weighs 3.56g. It is most likely to be a furniture upholstery nail, and similar examples from roman Colchester are illustrated in Crummy, 1983, (nos 2995, 3002)

a copper alloy finger ring of probable Roman date. It is a small, oval ring, probably designed for a child, with a cable pattern on the hoop, which is broken and out of shape. There is a rectangular bezel with an oval-shaped empty setting. There are traces of a paste within the setting, and a large patch of corrosion behind the bezel within the hoop. The hoop is also corroded. The ring measures 16.89mm in width and 7.35mm in length at the bezel which is 10.85mm wide. It weighs 1.85g.

a copper alloy Roman armlet fragment. It is a flattened, rectangular strip,with two panels of transvers grooves separated by mouldings and grooved lines. The terminal is rounded and has a verival panel of similar decoration, with stamped circular motifs i addition. The fragment measures 34.23mm in width and 15.7mm in length, weighing 3.31g. This example is paralleled by an armlet fragment from Hacheston ( Blagg et al, p.113, fig74, no.54) and is likely to date to the first century AD.
