A sheet copper alloy Post-Medieval hooked mount. It has a trefoil terminal with openwork decoration, tapering to a narrow rectangular bar decorated with tiny knops before it extends into a hook. This bends backwards to form an almost-enclosed loop, from which a ring is suspended. The remains of a rivet fill the perforation at the top of the trefoil, and another can be determined in the centre of the narrow bar, above the hooked terminal. A sheet copper alloy Post-Medieval mount. It is hinged, and may have been used as a book or casket mount. A short rectangular plate,decorated with an indented terminal and small central knop, has two rivet holes each with corroded rivet remains. This is attached to a second plate, connected by the hinge and set at right angles. This plate has a rivet hole near the hinge, and is shaped with an openwork rectangle surmounted by a trefoil shape, perforated for a rivet and terminating with a point. The object measures 25.58mm in lenth, 9.88mm in height and 9.89mm in width. It weighs 2.4g.

A copper alloy pin of probable Anglo-Saxon date. The lower part of the shaft is missing due to old breaks. The pin has a bi-conical head which is decorated with six ring and dot motifs on both hemispheres, and one placed centrally on the top. The shaft is worn and it is not possible to say whether or not the pin had a collar. The shaft is circular in section and measures 2.18mm in diameter, tapering to 1.45mm at its incomplete terminal. The overall length of the pin is 19.31mm, and it is 7.36mm in width at the mid-point of the head. The pin weighs 1.47g. Whilst the pin head has some…

An Early Medieval copper alloy pin with incomplete shaft, the lower part of which is missing due to old breaks. The head is polyhedral in form (a cuboid with the corners cut off), rectangular in section and has thirteen faces. These are undecorated, and there is a narrow, raised transverse collar at the join of head and shaft. Beneath the collar the shaft is circular in section and 2.17mm in diameter. A Medieval copper alloy rotary or casket key. The tip as well as part of the bit are missing, due to old breaks. The key has a flat, lozenge shaped bow with with a central perforation, and a projecting oval shaped knop at the top with two incised circumferential grooves. Both pointed sides of the bow also have projecting knops, one side larger than the other, and are sub-oval in shape. The bow is separated from the stem by a transverse collar. An Early Medieval sheet copper alloy hooked tag or dress fastener. It can be classified as Read class A type 2, with two attachment holes. The fastener is sub-circular in shape, and has a U-shaped, recurved sharp hook. There are two small sewing holes close together near the upper edge, and there is engraved decoration on the front face. A line around the edge encloses the two attachment holes, and descends on either side toward the protruding hook. There is also a median line running between them.
