a copper alloy sword fragment of Late Bronze Age date. It is a rectangular section from the blade, with a central slightly raised rib defined by incised grooves running longitudinally, and flanges on either side. The edges are abraded and the surfaces are very worn. The fragment was most likely deliberately broken in antiquity. It measures 18.58mm in length and 31.47mm in width, weighing 15.95g.
