A cas copper alloy Roman bow brooch fragment, Colchester derivative type. 43-100 AD. It consists of the wings and upper bow only, the coil, pin and catch-plate are missing. The wings are shallow and not quite semi-cylindrical, and are decorated on the outside with several bands of transverse mouldings. The bow has a central longitudinal panel of moulding and is incomplete at the foot because of old breaks. The reverse side of the bow has a hollow channel. The brooch fragment measures 28.23mm in surviving length and is 29.19mm in width across the wings. It weighs 8.05g.

A copper alloy Roman headstud brooch, almost complete. The pin is missing and the chain loop is incomplete. The wings are short with three steps of moulding from the ends to the bow. A copper alloy Roman plate brooch. It is a lozenge-shaped brooch, with three steps up to the central lozenge,the centre of which is dished and contains traces of a white paste of possible infil. It has a domed, rounded hollow on the underside. The brooch has a pin fitting consisting of double lugs set close together and perforated to take a bar to hold the pin, now missing. Two fragments from Roman Colchester derivative, Harlow style brooch, dated to 50-80. One fragment consists of the wings and upper bow only, of a Colchester derivative brooch with double lug. The wings are short and semi-cylindrical, and are plain and unfaceted. The coil and pin are missing. The line of the double lug at the centre continues forward and runs down the bow as a longitudinal ridge. The bow is flat-backed. An incomplete cast copper alloy fragment of a Late Iron Age to early Roman Langton Down brooch of Nertomarus type. Only the spring and cylindrical spring cover, the head and a small part of the bow survive. Where the spring cover is broken, six coils can be seen to one side of the pin springing (pin missing) and four to the other, the rest missing due to old breaks. The head is decorated in low relief with an oval-shaped human head perforated with three holes, suggesting two eyes and one mouth. A fragment of a silver Medieval annular brooch. It is approximately half of a flat circular brooch frame, incomplete due to old breaks. The frame has an external diameter of 18.18mm, is 3.08mm in width, c.0.6mm in thickness and weighs 0.37g. On one surface there is an engraved inscription in bold capital letters, reading AIDE MEI M (or possibly AEDE MEI M). Lead brooch of 'hub-cap' type (Weetch type 17), of late Early-Medieval date, probably 10th or 11th century. It is circular, 26.7mm in diameter and 1.25mm thick, with a central circular hole (7.65mm in diameter) surrounded by a raised edge. It weighs 10.08g. There are four evenly spaced raised hollow-backed bosses or domes, 4.44mm in diameter, around the edges, each pushed up from the back of the brooch. There is a small sub-circular hole through the lead between two of the domes. There is a lead loop catchplate on the back of the brooch, and remains of an attachment point for a pin.

Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch knob. A copper alloy detachable side knob from an Early Medieval brooch, probably from a cruciform brooch. It is a full round knob,with a knop, and a hole running through the centre (blocked by corrosion) for the pin bar . The knob has moulded decoration, of a single groove at the base of the head, a plain central panel, and three more grooves around the collar. The knob measures 16.78mm in length, 9.08mm in width and weighs 5.33g. There are traces of a white metal coating on the knob.

A fragment of a Roman copper-alloy chatelaine brooch. Part of one side of the brooch survives, including one lug to take the missing chatelaine bar. Part of the edge with one side lug is bent back at right angles, apparently torn away from the incomplete plate. The plate is decorated with two bands; the lower contains two triangles and the upper two semi-circles. These decorative cells contain traces of a deposit which may be yellow enamel. Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch fragment. Bow from a cruciform brooch, but could also have come from a square-headed brooch. It is approximately rectangular, 29.89mm in length and 17mm wide. It weighs 9.14g. It is curved to a bow shape, and is domed with a longitudinal ridge down the centre, giving way to a flatter profile where it forms the base of the central panel. The metal shows signs of having been in a fire, which suggests that it may have come from a cremation .

An incomplete copper-alloy openwork cross brooch dating to the 9th century AD, of Weetch's type 15.B. Less than half the brooch survives. It consists of a ring-shaped semi-circle, 3.85mm wide and with a reconstructable diameter of 26.5mm, with an openwork pattern of one complete quadrant-shaped hole, and parts of two more. Originally the disc would have had four such holes which formed a cross shape, the arms of which widen from the centre to the outside ring.
